Orders & Shipping (Pakistan)

How fast do you deliver?

Major cities: 1–2 working days. Other cities/towns: 2–3 working days. Remote/northern areas: 3–5 working days. Weather/holidays may add 1–2 days.

When will my order dispatch?

Orders Mon–Sat before 2:00 PM PKT ship same day; after 2:00 PM ship next business day. Sunday/public holiday orders ship next business day.

Which couriers do you use?

TCS, Leopards, or M&P—auto‑selected for fastest delivery.

What are the shipping charges in Pakistan?

Free standard shipping on all shawls.

Is express shipping available?

In select cities: +Rs 299 (aims for 1–2 working days). Contact us to confirm.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive tracking via SMS/WhatsApp and email after dispatch.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Do you offer COD?

Yes, nationwide on orders up to Rs 30,000.

Will you verify my COD order?

We may confirm via call/WhatsApp for orders above Rs 15,000 or if details are incomplete.

Can I open the parcel before paying?

Couriers typically don’t allow “open before pay.” Please record an unboxing video; if something’s wrong, we’ll resolve it quickly.

Returns & Exchanges

What’s your return window?

7 days from delivery in Pakistan.

What’s eligible for return?

Unused, unwashed items in original condition with tags/packaging and the Shawl Card included. Minor weave/color variations are normal in handmade items.

How do I start a return?

Submit the form at /returns/ or email contact@Shawlam.pk with your Order # and reason (Exchange, Store Credit, Refund).

Is there a return fee?

Change of mind/shade exchange: Rs 299 return fee (deducted from refund) or ship back yourself. Defective/incorrect item: free return.

Can I exchange for another shade?

Yes—Grey, Brown, Black, or Off‑White if available. If sold out, choose Store Credit (valid 6 months) or Refund.

How are refunds issued?

Prepaid: to original method. COD: via bank transfer. Processing: 3–5 working days after we receive and approve the return; banks may take an extra 2–5 days.

Products & Sourcing

Do you weave the shawls yourselves?

No—we curate from trusted artisan workshops and suppliers across Pakistan.

Are your shawls handwoven?

When labeled as handwoven, that is based on supplier declarations and our checks for weave, texture, and finishing. We never label machine‑made items as handwoven.

Do you always know the exact origin/technique?

We share origin/technique when our partners provide it (e.g., Islampur/Swat, Khadi). If details are limited, we keep it simple and honest.

Materials, Size & Warmth

What wool do you use?

Natural wool selected for softness and durability. Specific fiber notes (e.g., finer/loft, weave density) are listed on each product page.

How warm are the shawls?

Most are mid‑to‑winter weight—breathable warmth without bulk. Check each product’s “Warmth” note.

What’s the typical size?

Generous wrap size (see product page). If you need exact measurements, WhatsApp us and we’ll confirm.

Care & Maintenance

How do I wash my shawl?

Hand wash cold with a wool‑safe detergent or dry clean. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. Store folded in a breathable bag.

Any tips to prevent moths?

Keep clean and fully dry before storage. Use cedar balls or neem leaves in your wardrobe.

What about pilling?

Light pilling can occur with natural wool. Use a sweater comb/lint shaver gently—especially on high‑friction areas.

Payments

Which payment methods do you accept?

COD (Pakistan), Card (via payment gateway), Bank transfer, and in some cases JazzCash/Easypaisa. Options may vary by checkout.

Is checkout secure?

Yes—SSL encryption and trusted payment partners. We don’t store full card details.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Can I change my address or shade?

Yes, before dispatch. Message us ASAP on WhatsApp with your Order #.

Can I cancel my order?

Before dispatch: yes, no fee. After dispatch: refuse delivery or return using the 7‑day window (return fee may apply for change of mind).

Gifting

Do you offer gift wrap?

Yes—add gift wrap and a handwritten note at checkout.

Will you hide prices in the parcel?

Yes—gift orders ship without pricing inside the box.

Do you sell gift cards?

Digital gift cards are coming soon. Contact us for a manual voucher.

International Shipping

Do you ship outside Pakistan?

Coming soon. For a custom quote, email contact@Shawlam.pk with your country and postal code.

Authenticity & Shawl Card

What is the Shawl Card?

A card included with your order noting shade, size, care, and any origin/weave details provided by our partners. Scan the QR (where available) to view the product page.

Why do colors look slightly different in person?

We shoot in natural light for accuracy, but screen settings and handmade dye/weave variations may create minor differences.

Wholesale / Corporate

Do you take bulk or corporate orders?

Yes—small‑batch corporate gifting or bulk orders are available. Lead times vary by shade availability. Contact us via /wholesale/ or /contact/.
